Strings - Augustine

Augustine pioneered the use of nylon in place of gut strings in the 1940's, and were a favourite string of Andres Segovia. Since then, Albert Augustine Ltd has established itself as a major factor in the classical guitar field worldwide

 Different guitars may suit different makes of string. As a general rule higher tension strings tend to cost more than lower tension. However, this does not necessarily mean they will produce a better tone or response. It is a matter of personal choice for each guitarist until you discover the string that best suits your guitar.
